Review – “A rare, artful piece of work…”

“The Fallen Kind is something that I rarely say about books, let alone books that could fall in the self-pub category. The Fallen Kind is very, very good.

The writing and plotting is masterful. Each character gets his or her due, and I didn’t feel like any character was stereotyped or pigeonholed. A rare, artful piece of work.

Evan and his best friend are “mappers” in a world torn apart. They meet in an abandoned diner, and the setting feels nostalgic even though it’s so far outside of our own experiences.”
